PROJECT: International Light Exhibition
PLACE: London, UK
WHEN: 12 February 2004
CLIENT: Victoria & Albert Museum
We were invited to showcase Light Sleeper and Digital Dawn as part of the V&A’s first exhibition of contemporary lighting. “Brilliant” featured nine dramatic light installations and a dazzling display of domestic lights by some of the world’s leading designers. The exhibition ran from February to April in 2004.
The exhibition included lighting from the strictly functional to the wildly ostentatious. It showed the range of new lighting forms, fabrics and technologies from domestic lamps to futuristic lighted textiles.
Digital Dawn was then bought by the V&A for their permanent collection
