We were invited by Erik Wong from the Rietveld Academy’s Textile department to run a one-week workshop together with the Lightness Studios.
Students worked in groups to create a lightweight mobile village that were finally toured around Amsterdam until they found a resting place in a city park. The students were introduced to smart geometry and there was a daily market where groups could exchange materials and skills with each other to grow their lightweight dwellings.
